Why it all started
rooted in miami hospitality

Takeout Goods was born from years of working in South Florida’s fast-paced food industry and a desire to provide reliable, high-quality packaging. Let’s face it, it shouldn’t be this hard to find disposable containers that survive Miami traffic, beat the heat, and look great on arrival! We’re here to support your kitchen, however your customers dine.

Miami: where it all began

Ever heard that necessity is the mother of invention? Well, Takeout Goods is the epitome of that cliché. After spending the last few years working deep in the Miami hospitality industry, I realized we had a massive, glaring problem: our disposable packaging simply couldn’t keep up with our food.

If you’ve ever worked a busy Friday night shift in Miami, you know that speed and reliability are everything. When the takeout boom hit and delivery apps took over, the flaws in standard restaurant packaging became painfully obvious. Honestly, who wants to send out a five-star meal only for it to arrive in a soggy paper bag or a leaky, melted container?

My first approach to solving this was looking for local suppliers who actually got it. I won’t bore you with the details of my “logistics journey,” but let’s just say I knew exactly what materials could survive the South Florida heat, humidity, and cross-city traffic. I started sourcing the absolute best, most durable eco-friendly and plastic disposables on the market. To stick to the point: it was exactly what local restaurants needed. Takeout Goods was born.

Looking around the local supply chain, I was struck by the realization that premium, reliable takeout packaging just wasn’t accessible for everyday Miami restaurants. But I don’t give up easily. If I couldn’t find a local supplier who truly understood our industry’s needs, I was just going to become one myself. That’s easy, right?

So, spending hours researching and testing, I evaluated a thousand and one prototypes until I curated the absolute perfect catalog. Durable, leak-proof, and presentation-ready. And there you have it! The Takeout Goods standard was born.

Who would have thought that a simple frustration during a busy dinner service could turn into a proudly Miami-based business.
